How to make toner at home?
Estimated time of making: 15 minutes
In skincare, toner refers to a liquid or mist product that is applied to the skin after cleansing and before moisturizing. Toners can have a variety of functions, such as helping to remove any remaining impurities or traces of makeup after cleansing, restoring the skin's natural pH balance, and providing hydration. They can also contain active ingredients that target specific skin concerns, such as acne or aging. Toners can come in different forms such as liquids, mists, or pads and can be applied with cotton pad, spray or hands.

Ingredients Used
1 medium-sized cucumber, 1 cup of distilled water, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel, 5 drops of essential oil
Step 1: Peel the cucumber
Peel and finely grate the cucumber, and squeeze out the juice using a cheesecloth or fine strainer.
Step 2: Mixing
In a small mixing bowl, combine the cucumber juice, distilled water and aloe vera gel. Add the essential oils and stir until well combined.
Step 3: Storing & application
Transfer the mixture to a clean, airtight bottle or jar. Shake well before each use. To use, apply a small amount of toner to a cotton pad and gently swipe over the face, avoiding the eyes.
